"Deborah, Life Coaching with you
has helped me to see a clearer picture of what I deserve and where I would like to be in my life at this time and in the future. You have taught me some important tools I can use to help deal with difficult situations. Setting up a game plan with attainable goals was a very important element of our work together. You also taught me that it is okay to have certain feelings and thoughts about things burdening me and that I could just recognize them at times and not dwell on them. You have a way of constantly “reading between the lines” picking up on things I said or did not recognize then challenging me with that information. I’ve learned things about myself through you because you have such great compassion, are a wonderful listener and have excellent communication skills." Andrea- stay at home Mom
| Meet Deborah
Deborah has been a Life Coach since 2003 coaching individuals as well as couples. Deborah will help you through difficult times and life transitions by introducing new resources and a fresh prospective with ongoing support. She has a true passion for coaching and approaches her work with humor and a down to earth attitude. Deborah has been in the profession of helping people for over 20 years. She chose an active and adventurous way of helping others in need while serving as a Firefighter EMT for thirteen years. Hired as the first woman on a southern California municipal fire department she learned first-hand about motivation, change, and adaptation. During her service as a firefighter she became a practiced observer of the ways in which she and others moved forward, and met the challenges in spite of fear or danger. To deal with the frequently stressful work environment of firefighting she began to search for ways to remain centered and calm during day to day demands inherent in the work and close living quarters during 24 hour shifts. To find answers she was lead to an extensive study of Eastern philosophy and Buddhism. This is when her interest and self-study of the power of thought and mind training blossomed into a desire to help others in a new way. Deborah left the fire service in 1999 to pursue a career as a hypnotherapist helping others to tap into the power of their mind to assist them in making positive changes. This is when she began to help individuals make changes that improved their life. She strongly believes that we can practice mind training and taming so that we have greater power of choice in regard to our moods, actions, thoughts, and prospective. While working in the field of hypnotherapy she became eager to expand upon her skills of facilitating life changes. She discovered the CoachVille School for coach training and received in-depth training and education. Since 2003 her passion has been Life Coaching, yet she draws from all of her past experiences and training which include Compassionate Communication, Buddhist Psychology, and Vision Quest Leader to help clients get what they want from life. She is particularly skilled at helping others change unproductive thoughts and perceptions that get in the way of happiness and fulfillment. Her ideal client is someone who is ready for change and willing to do what it takes.
